I just really started promoting my own music and have gone into a stronger creation role... enough of the part time stuff.

I love music... I absorb it, listen constantly and try to create my own.

what kind of music do make? that image looks kinda psychedelic & pretty cool

also interested in the transition from promotion to a more creation type situation.

maybe a case of making music and letting someone else marketing for you ?

That is true, you either create or you don't. I guess what I meant was to try to create more creative things more creatively lol.

Actually, I just meant I was creating stuff more: often, original. Hopefully with better quality and more thought put into stuff. More promotion.

Imagine moving from a very part time hobby to more active, (shooting for at least a little daily) more engaged role.

Before, I was just extremely busy all the time... now I will lose sleep every day if I have to to keep making stuff and promoting so I can get people to listen.

I make I guess what you would call progressive, alternative modern metal hardcore shoe-gaze ish type stuff? I'm looking to modernize my style a bit though... hopefully without losing the overall feel AND without sounding like every other band out there you know?

I'm starting to realize promotion is AT LEAST half the game though... I think I spend about that much time trying to tell people about my music stuff. But, that's the ground work you know? The real fun is making the music and art!
