What this guy managed to do is AWESOME...5015 singers from all over the world...and the video? Breathtaking, full of meaning, perfect. To what genre can we allot this masterpiece?

Errata corrige...5905 singers...by god, with Skype. Never heard such choral perfection, notwithstanding the latency of web acoustics...

Another masterpiece of this masterful musician and composer:

His harmonies are so well balanced and touching. Even his suspendeds that are supposedly false notes are so well introduced that they become pleasant and desirable. What a maestro. And all the cantors are IMPRESSIVE...

I believe he has three or four of these virtual choirs out and completed now. Whitacre is one of the greatest composers of our time. He is also an awesome conductor, and does more than choral works, which not a lot of people know about. This is his piece Godzilla Eats Las Vegas, and it's one of my favorites!
