this week in 1956 saw Elvis Presley start filming his debut Hollywood movie, it was originally to be called "the reno brothers" until producers cast Elvis in a supporting role...although the movie had an adult rating it was renamed to coincide with one of the four tracks Elvis was to perform....that movie became Love Me Tender, the first of four good movies prior to his 1958 draft in to the US Army.
