The computer told me to introduce myself - so I must obey. Let's see - bands/artists I'm into: recently I've been listening to alot of Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Outkast, The Zombies, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Alpha Blondy, Yellowman, Ryan Adams, Neko Case, Fountains of Wayne, Girl Talk, Los Straitjackets, MGMT, My Morning Jacket, plus a bunch of other stuff, but thats kind of a good summary of my likes.
Hope to meet people that can recommend cool music I don't know about, especially current bands that I can catch in concert.

Hi Geronibus, welcome to Music Discussion.
I saw My Morning Jacket yesterday supporting Neil Young, and they were one of the highlights of the day.
Interesting to see you like Alpha Blondy. I've got a copy of the Jerusalem album that he did with The Wailers, and you're the first person I've come across that's even heard of him.

MMJ and Neil Young - nice! I'm not a big fan of the new MMJ record, but they have enough older stuff to play a brutal show. I saw them in Asheville right before Z came out.
Alpha Blondy has some groovin stuff I have a bunch of his records - but Jerusalem is my favorite: Miwa - favorite song by far. I just got his first album last night, but haven't had a chance to listen yet. It's called Rasta Poue - so I'm definitely looking forward to checking it out.
Anything good to do on this site? I see you've posted a bunch of times.

Like any forum, this one is only as good as the members that post on it. The place is gathering momentum, and the more discussions there are, the more members will be drawn in, and the more discussions.....
Your tastes in music will add nicely to the forum, so I hope you like it here & will stick around to debate anything and everything about the music you love/hate.
