My name is Josh and I live in Salinas, CA. I am about 15 miles east of Monterey, 100 miles south of San Francisco, and 300 some miles north of Los Angeles.
Of course I love music and one of my purposes for joining this board is to promote my band Smokey the Giant in the links section. I play guitar for the band (A little rhythm and lead mixed). We are an Indie Rock band that has been together since 2006 and continue to evolve to this day.
I will probably gaze through posts on here from time to time as I do like to find new music. I am a fan of alternative rock and indie rock the most but I like pretty much any genre of music. It really depends on the overall sound. I am currently listening to a lot of At the Drive in, Billy Corgan and Smashing Pumpkins, and Death Cab for Cutie.
