Bear in mind that 'production' does not only conern the quality of the recording, but also the sequence of the different tracks, the decision as to what instrument plays what part and even the overall feel of the album & artwork. When it comes to the audio side of things there are many fine examples. When it comes to artwork (for me) there is only one true classic - Wish You Were Here. The four different elements, representing the four different personalities in the band and then the theme of absence i.e. Syd Barrett' s demise and 'disappearance'. Still has to be beaten. Don't know what Storm was on when he designed this but I want some of it.

I remember that ! ....Dark Side of the Moon was a great production ! Audiophiles in '73 couldn't stop raving about the overall sound quality...it was the first CD I bought !
