under the scalpel

i had an accident at work on June 28th in which i tore the meniscus in my left knee.
and it has taken until last week for work insurance to determine their liability for the injury.

so tomorrow i undergo knee surgery to repair the damage.
this should be keyhole surgery and should be complete in less than an hour but the recovery time will be up to several months until i am back to 100%.
i will be off work for two to three weeks before i return for light duties and on going physiotherapy...

under the knife at 9am and back home by midday...
all appears to have gone with textbook precision from the hands of the surgeon.
now its up to me to start the physio and stick to the routine given to me...
