about two weeks ago a mug of coffee decided it was going to pick a fight with my laptop...
after leaving the laptop upside down overnight so the liquid would drain out and dry out it eventually appeared to work, allbeit much slower then finally on saturday it started making crunching/grinding style noises and emitted a metallic burning smell whist i was using it and eventually shut itself...
so on sunday i went to a guy i know who works in a store and he advised me that the caffeine overdose was too much for it

anyway i purchased a new HP laptop which was on a pre-christmas special price, (original price $899, sale price $649), so a nice little saving there for me!
it already has Windows-11 preinstalled on it and appears to be quite working effortlessly as this stage...
there are a few subtle changes ive noticed from the previous Windows 10 version i had but nothing that really annoys me as such...
