Spotify listen:
fourth album from The Kentuckian....
no folky/country ballads on this one its all Rock in one guise or another...
album opens up with an instrumental, and im thinking, oh my God what is he doing,
I needn't have worried, that was an early glitch in his arsenal I wasn't expecting, but in
listening a second time it adds to the build up of the whole genre change...Phew!
so heres how the album pans out...
gone almost Rockpile on me with "last man standing" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8H1uLBs0HQ audio (and favourite)
gone all disco rock with "a good look" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCKzSbBd...hE76WbuTm4
gone all My Morning Jacket on me with the lengthy distortion of "fastest horse in town" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaz35PH3...4&index=10
Sturgill delivers another great album IMO..
