Aussie country star...
eleventh studio set from Kasey...
better than her last album as she returns to he country roots here...
some folky ballads, some country and a couple of bluesy numbers...
her voice is getting more husky as she ages which I love...
two duets on this one, one with Foy Vance and another with Paul Kelly,
im a huge fan of both those artists, but the one with Kelly is my least
liked one on the album...
"talkin' baby time" is a re-write o an early Dylan track, "talkin' New York"
if memory serves me correct, that track is cool also, sounds like she
was having fun recording that one (you can hear it in her voice)...
a welcome return to form IMO...

She has a great voice - or she did, haven't heard her voice lately.

I got very sick of hearing "Not Pretty Enough" at the time of release, which is a shame, because if I am going to listen to anything at all country, she is better than most.

i agree bob_32, radio killed Not Pretty Enough for me at the time.

its not often I buy albums the week theyre released unless its an artist I adore but Kasey's albums never go down in price
so it makes no difference whether I get it then or a few months down the track so i'll be getting it this morning.
