So Thy Catafalque managed to release another great album back in September of this year after 2015's also great Sgurr. This continues TC's modern style of experimental metal, with bits of black metal, doom metal, electronic, ambient, and folk all mixed together well. This is probably my album of the year. My favourite tracks are Ixion Duun and Malmok jarnak.

All of their albums are very good, so maybe work your way backwards through their discography if you like their newest one. They're one of the most consistently good experimental metal bands around to be honest. Also check out his side project: Gire and their self-titled album if you haven't already.

Hmm, not sure Meta is exactly my cup of tea, but it has grown on me a bit. I do appreciate the variety in Thy Catafalque's music. I've also been listening to Rengeteg and like it so far.

Try Roka hasa Radio if you like Rengeteg, they're more similar to each other as Meta is to Sgurr. Despite not getting much into Meta, I'd still recommend checking out Sgurr eventually if you haven't already, particularly the title track and the shorter tracks. The other longer track on Sgurr is something which I still like, but it isn't as involved or interesting as Thy Catafalque's other epic songs in my opinion. So anyways at least check out Roka hasa Radio, the song Molekularis Gepezetek is my favourite song by TC, so either start with that or Szervetlen as the album normally does.

Great! Let me know what you think of both, if you like, once you have the chance.
