front man for My Morning Jacket....
have all of their albums and James' last solo set...
that last solo album was pretty sparse sounding,
a vast difference to MMJ's albums...
this one has more meat to it, even sounds slightly jazzy
in places..
the problem I have is that most of the songs sound
very similar to eachother, ie: little variation in sound...
not a bad album, one i'd buy if it came down in price.

I bought the last one automatically because I like MMJ a lot - I was disappointed. So I will have to sample this one before buying, but CH's mini review makes it sound promising in terms of sound and style.
