"Q" is probably the most respected music magazine in the UK (along with Uncut), sort of their equivalent of Rolling Stone...
personally I prefer Uncut and Rolling Stone as music magazines, but I have bought "Q" on occasion when there is a feature
on an artist im interested in.
each year they conduct a readers poll and have an award ceremony, this years winners are as follows:
Q Breakthrough Act â Jack Garratt
Q Best Track â Bastille (Good Grief)
Q Best Video â PJ Harvey (The Community of Hope)
Q Best Album â The 1975 (I Like It When You Sleepâ¦)
Q Best Live â U2
Q Best Solo Artist â James Bay
Q Best Act in the World â Muse
Q Innovation â MIA
Q Rock Hero â Meat Loaf
Q Classic Songwriter â Ray Davies
Q Hall of Fame â Madness
Q Classic Album â The Charlatans (Tellinâ Stories)
Q Gibson Les Paul Best Guitarist â The Edge
Q Outstanding Contribution to Music â Blondie
