Kacey Musgraves "a very Kacey Christmas"
Spotify listen:
ive been a big an of her two official studio albums
and even though this is a yuletide album I thought i'd
give it a go...
four maybe five new songs on here, the rest old tunes...
Leon Bridges duets on one track and Willie and "trigger" guest on
another track...
tracks are kept to their bare essentials and are respectful of
the originals in melody and tune...
just one question though, why does it seem every country singer
both new and old seem to feel the need to record a country Christmas album???
pleasant enough album to listen to but these sort of albums are really not
my thing unless its Boney M or Elvis Presley...
I wouldn't buy it, but as I said, its pleasant enough, thus I call it disposable.
from the album, the duet with Willie Nelson:
