Dropkick Murphys - Worker's Song

Maybe it's just me, but their music is pretty upbeat even the political stuff, haha.

I may have said this before but it's just a matter of time. We are still under attack.
We did not learn by our mistakes. It's even worse now.

I'm a big fan of the band, only own three or four albums though,
"goin out in style" is my favourite that I own.

^^ Heh, Dropkick Murphys tend to put a smile on my face when I hear them.

mile:
When I think of the election, the Twilight Zone theme song sometimes goes through my mind. I keep thinking the Doorway to Normal Land will appear and when I find myself on the other side and turn on the news, everything will be alright again. IS THIS THE REEAL LIFE, IS THIS JUST FANTASY
So yeah, here it is:

I was 8 when 9/11 happened and at school when the first plane struck the twin towers. When I got home, I saw the second plane hit on the news and I knew people were dying inside. My sense of safety definitely eroded. Some details are a bit fuzzy.
There were many brave souls at Ground Zero and firefighters, soldiers, and others trying to help people. I remember the grieving and pictures of lost loved ones around NY. It must've been scary to see it happen in person and my heart goes out to those who lost family, friends, etc during the event. Rest in peace.
Peter Gabriel - I Grieve - I get teary eyed during this song when I hear it.

Queen - Is This The World We Created?

Heh, this thread looks like a personal rant thread of mine  I'm told often in my life that the world isn't perfect, I'm aware of that and my ideals are...unrealistic. I feel saddened by things that happens in my country and the world, I sometimes have to turn off the News so I don't become overwhelmed. Anyone else like that? How do people not succumb to the pressure of the world and it's events? Detachment is something I try to do.
I know not everything is bad, I've heard a lot of negativity this past year or so... it's kind of affecting me. Keep your head up, amirite? Which makes me think of another song, The Five Stairsteps - O-o-h Child

I wonder if this is how Hillary Clinton might've felt after the recent Presidential debate: Flo Rida - Good Feeling https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CJayD81A2fA
The winner in round 1. Will Trump prepare next time or will I need to bring out Mr. Krabs' sad violin? Who knows.
