A song written for the British painter L S Lowry – I’ve never heard anything else by Brian and Michael - this seems to have been their one hit. As to Lowry, he turned down two OBE’s, a CBE, a knighthood and a CH (nothing to do with mad horses) making his secondary distinction, that of record holder for most honours declined.
