MIKE AND THE MELVINS "three men and a baby"

Californian metal group, well, they call it "sludge metal"....
how many f..ing metal sub genres are there???
music sounds distorted in places,
the vocals are mixed down in the mix and blend in too much with the music
thus they take effort to listen to, and when I listen to music I want to listen with ease
and not have to think to understand vocals...
nothing on here excited me, I dunno, I guess you guys will probably hate it also,
everyone, that is, except SteveO maybe???

Sludge metal? Sounds more like rock to me....not something I would gravitate to! There are too many metal genres like a lot of other music... utterly ridiculous!
 The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!
