New Blog
#1
Hi guys.

Well i figured as well as this site, I would have a blog for my troubles and opinions as a music person, including articles on authenticity, rock and other music history, books, album reviews, single reviews as i listen to them and other stuff.

Come read and follow as well as becoming a writer and you can send me a PM if you want. I'm new to this blogging concept but I'm getting into it so excuse me if isn't what you thought it'd be initially.

Ok. So looking for writers in the next couple of weeks for my blog. As I have more time on my hands as well as more time for music listening it gives me a chance to review much more and be more active both here and on my blog. Be sure to PM me if you want to be a writer.

While wordpress can be a little iffy to set up I believe it is definitely a more powerful engine then blogger but then again I have used both for quite some time. Blogger has a variety of basic settings that will make any blog fantastic but I urge you to read up on the internet and install a custom theme to your page, it really sets apart a good blog from an average one.

When someone looks at your blog you have about 10 seconds for them to be captured (bit like pokemon)

1. They look at the visual aspects of the site
2. They look at the level of depth and content
3. They look at how much activity goes on

They then make a decision to stay or leave.

Wordpress can knock out some great looking site and really give you a professional clean website (which we hope we did with ours suburbanlegacy[dot]com - new user so can't post links x.x)

However, blogger can still be a powerful blogging engine. If you need any help with blogging terms or stuff like that feel free to message us and possible have a listen to the show we put out (its free Big Grin) every now or then. First she is Nov 7th 2009. Best of luck with your blog buddy!

Or course, but first and foremost, I am primarily using it as a means to get out my opinions and such. Wordpress works well, but i felt the simplicity of Blogger is what i wanted. This of course may change in the future...
