Loretta Lynn "full circle"

im a huge fan of Loretta but was a bit apprehensive about listening to
this album because I didn't want this to tarnish what I love about her...
a few covers on here, most notably "always on my mind",
and a couple of re-recordings of early tracks from her glory days...
a couple of duets on here also, one with Mr Costello and the other with
Willie Nelson...
so, a traditional country album,
lots of twangy steel guitar work, an acoustic, a bass and percussion,
and she still has a half decent voice that has the odd crackle in it, which is an
age thing, but mind you, she is 83 years of age.
a very nice album that does not diminish her legacy...
this is on my 'to purchase' list as from this moment in time!

after debuting on the Aussie country chart at #4 last week, Loretta slips to #19 this week.

enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week at #19
the track with Elvis was definitely the best thing on here
only a couple of others I can say I even like
redoing Fist City was pointless
don't care for that above posted cover at all
disappointment for me

moves back up from #19 last week to #13 in Australia this week on the country album charts...

I've always been able to take it or leave it when it comes to Loretta Lynn.
That doesn't change with this single.
