Patsy Cline Is a Legend and Here's Why (Plus My Cover)
#1
Patsy Cline is one of the first people to set the precedent of "cross overs". She began as a swing/jazz artist but most of her songs could also be categorized as country/pop. Her songs were meaningful, captivating, and full of longing. She was the first female solo artist inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame. She went from a high school drop out to becoming one of the most influential women of the 20th century. When she got in a car crash, doctors tried to help her first but she insisted the other driver be attended to before her. She died fatally in a plane crash, but her memory lives on. I can only hope that my cover of her song "Crazy" would make her proud. Please give it a watch, I would be so thankful Smile And if you don't already love Patsy Cline, now's the time to start!
