Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga to record Cole Porter album

Lady Gaga is recording a second jazz album with singer Tony Bennett.

The pair released 'Cheek To Cheek' in September 2014, a cover album of popular jazz standards including 'Anything Goes' and 'Let’s Face the Music and Dance.' It subsequently topped the US Billboard chart.

Now, Tony Bennett has revealed that the pair are working on a follow up.

"Yeah, we're doing an album," he told Vulture. "It's going to be all Cole Porter songs. He was the best writer of all of them in the Great American Songbook. Highly intelligent. We're going to have a lot of fun doing that."
Cole Porter was an American composer and songwriter whose songs achieved huge success on Broadway in the 1930s. Notable songs by Porter include 'I’ve Got You Under My Skin' and 'I Get A Kick Out Of You.'

Lady Gaga is reportedly working on her fifth album, the follow-up to 2013’s 'Artpop.'

Gaga recently revealed she has suffered with depression and anxiety for her whole life.

The pop star was speaking about her work with the Born This Way foundation, which she set-up in order to help support the wellness of young people. In an interview with Billboard, Gaga said "the internet is a toilet" and suggested a correlation between depression and time spent online.

Asked by the publication why she felt the need to set up the foundation, Gaga said it was born "from the years I spent watching my fans grow up" and seeing the problems they faced in their lives.

She went on to speak of her own mental health: "I’ve suffered through depression and anxiety my entire life, I still suffer with it every single day. I just want these kids to know that that depth that they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way. This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That's not human."

I've loved this project since they made "Lady is a tramp" and I though... wow... the grand Tony Bennett is crossing all borders of generation, age, music style, everything. Yes, the album is magnificent, been driving very nicely with it very loud also the concerts and all they did live is spectacular!
