Human Beat Box. Skill or pointless?

I have come across arguments from people that say people who beat box using only their mouth is talentless, pointless and annoying. Others, think the complete opposite.

I am interested to hear from others? Then I will add my own comments

it is like useless facts they have no usefullness but are fun, so in turn it is fun so they found a use for it

Mr.Soul has presented an enthralling performance. Here's the deal: percussion by itself quickly gets boring--used with any melodic component, it can be edge-of-your-seat, WTF-just happened? thrilling. And percussion is percussion, no matter how it's produced. Time-keeping by itself is OK but the better beatboxers (like masters of any medium) are so much more
