Site layout changes

Please don't be alarmed. Nothing has actually changed, other than updating some of the board names and where various boards are now laid out.

This is direct response to try and increase areas of the site to where we sit in search engine rankings. Ultimately to attract new members.

To some of the old time MD members, the reintroduction of the chit chat board (formally 'General Discussion'). World music has been renamed to general music and placed to the top of the genre section. Hopefully this will improve and make it easier to identify which music board is most relevant to post in.

If you have any concerns or suggestions, please feel free to post them here. :wink:

Is there any chance for the avatars to be on the left side (oldschool look whoa)? I hate it when the avatar and the name and the postcount etc., you know what I mean, are above the post.

Yes I do.... Your not the first to suggest this, and I did look into it before but couldn't find the necessary layout options.

I will make some inquiry's, assuming everyone else is happy for this change?

It may require some getting used to, but is a better way of reading the different posts. :wink:
