Anything starring Idris Elba gets my rapt attention--few hold the character and the screen like he does. So I savored a 3-season short series with him as a conflicted London Met police inspector. Each episode is so intense, it holds binge-watching to a minimum--give yourself time to savor the flavor of each hour. Luther
