MADONNA "living for love"
debuts at #26 in the UK this week....
im just not a fan of Maddona, went off her when she released
that abomination cover of "american pie" and i havent gone back
to her...
IMO, best thing about this one is the funny falling off stage
mishap she had....
but to her credit, it proves she was actually singing that night
and like a proffessional performer she got right up and on with
the show!
oh yeh, i dont like it!

This is the one where she falls down tripping on her train! Still a magnetic performer with charisma! I am not a fan but I respect Madonna's impact on many female vocalists.

On reading this, the following screaming irrelevancy came to mind:

Madonna needed to follow Thelma Houston's lead and remembered 2 crucial rules-of-the-road: 1) Don't let the train be too long and 2) kick it the opposite way from what you're traveling (or at least make sure one of the rent-boys keeps it out of your way).:

Thanks for Thelma (no relation to Cissy or Whitney)! and then Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes with Teddy Pendergrass! Both versions are adrenalin boosters!

Thanks for that terrif share--I lived in that area during the Great/Grand days of Philly soul--such memories--"Just can't lose/With the stuff they use." May I close out this seriously solid triumvirate of magnificence with a British take?:
