fresh idea for newer Blues players
#1
...or anybody looking to jam with an established star, or just to listen. NOTE: this is a quasi-commercial post but I get no benefit from it...except to hear you play better some day.
Hal Leonard Play-Along series of CDs with lead sheets. Here's the kicker: the CDs are split-track and any instrument can be removed, or listen to the CD as it is. They also include some amazing tech to slow down a track without affecting pitch, or change the pitch without affecting tempo, or do both. You can also if on a computer, "Save as...". 12 different available--6 by style, 6 by artist with more to come. For further info: http://www.halleonard.com/search/search....ure=BLUPLA << some helpful vids included--yeah, they're sales tools but still...

I saw an ad in the newest Blues Music Magazine and couldn't NOT post.
