Any Weezer nuts here?

Yeah, as the title says. I'm sure I'm not the only one .

Plus, who's been watching the Weezer Wednesdays? So excited for 'Everything Will Be Alright In the End'! Not sure whether it's more because it's produced by Ric Ocasek, or because the previews have a Green/Maladroit tinge to them (Maladroit was the last great album in my view). Plus, 'Ain't Got Nobody' sounds fantastic, even if it is a 5 second preview .

Anyhow, I'm hoping for a late summer release, just so I have some summer to indulge myself in it. That is, of course, banking on the fact 'Everything...' will be a great album. Don't want to jinx it yet though.

Opinions anyone?

I personally have given up on Weezer, imo they kinda peeked on their first album and the last album i took seriously from them was the green album but it all started going downhill from there. but i'll give a shot to this new album, i don't exactly agree in the direction their taking the band i think they should just go back to making simple songs like 'Jamie' ya know, songs that aren't desperate to be a hit. i feel they are chasing fame at the expense of their music.. but i will still give them the benefit of the doubt because i have a soft spot for them, the blue album and pinkerton were pretty good and i know that wasn't a fluke and they can make this kinda music again. Nowhere near being a nut, but I've got 6 of their albums on my computer. When I was little kid my school used to do this thing called student of the week, and one day I got chosen. Basically they call your name, you go to the principal's office, and say "hey you're doing a good job so here's a gift". They gave me Weezer's Maladroit cd which at the time I was promptly told by classmate "sucked". Upon listening I agreed, but what did I know back then; over time it grew on me. My favourite songs by Weezer are Take Control, and Perfect Situation. It's been a while since I listened to them; I should pop on a track while I'm at it.
