Not too pop/melodic. Not too crude/hardcore. Raw, but not too amateurish. Solid bass presence.

in old punk terms: the ramones them and guns and roses were the bands that got me into music before my time do i give alot of credit to them

newer punk or "pop punk": sum 41 they got me into music in general but im starting to like the offspring more and more every day

awesome!! greenday is also pretty cool... off the beaten track there's some heavier kinda almost screamo punk i really like too, like afi, silverstein, peirce the veil, etc
