Hey There,
I'm Dan, Just introducing myself to the forum. I love music and it plays a huge part in my life.
I listen to a variety of music but mainly Metal. I absolutely love Avenged Sevenfold and literally have listened
to every one of there songs. There new album was a little disappointing but in my opinion it's still pretty dam
awesome! I also love Disturbed although I haven't listened to all there music I love every song I have listened
too so far. I do enjoy other bands such as Skillet, Pantera, Three Days Grace, Twenty One Pilots, etc.
Apart from listening to music I love to sing. I am pretty good at clean vocals and I practice vocal fry. I
mainly sing Avenged Sevenfold and also some Disturbed, oh and other random catchy little songs.
So that's what I love, now onto what I hate. :redface:
So I love music and don't really hate much, but one thing I can't stand is rap and mainstream R&B. I am
sorry I know probably, almost everyone loves these genres but I can't stand them, especially rap! It's not
catchy, it can be sexist and racist and allot of it moans about problems with society. :blah:
Anyway if you read all this thanks, I will be a very active member of this forum, I am glad to be a part of this

welcome to MD mate,
im not into "metal", but im sure SteveO will appreciate the bands you mentioned above...
most of us here arent into themodern so-called R+B material, if anything we probable all prefer the 1950s/60s r+b of Wilson Pickett,Otis Redding etc etc
also i doubt any members here would say they like "rap" music as a whole,but theres bits and pieces in every genre that is okay, in this genre i love Eminem(but not his latest album), D-12,Tupac and bits of Public Enemy.

Welcome Dan - not a metal fan but like a lot of prog rock/instrumental stuff/electronic/folk/reggae/blues/classical/pop/rock/spacey/ambient stuff. Do not like so called RnB or Rap at all. To me those two genres have no depth or soul.

Welcome Dan! I too am a metal fan of sorts! I like to be surprised and energized and I find metal music is where that's at for me! Contemporary classical, prog rock, prog metal, traditional country, jazz, ambient, blues, and of course rock are just some of the genres I listen to!
However I am a weird duck as all the members know! I like all music except crappy rappy that is played on the Top 40 commercial charts! There is good rap but you have to look long and hard for it!
My favourite band are The Beatles!
Now populate that Metal Forum with lots and lots of posts!!!!.lol
