Having worked as a sound engineer, let me tell you it is a thankless job. This is what the artists expect you to do for them (I swear, no lie):

I've only kept one thing I recorded because the band never asked for it even after i emailed them about it. It's bassist Paul Keller's Bird of Paradise Orchestra doing a tribute to Benny Goodman. I think there is a CD of it but it's a different show and I'm not on it. The one I have it one-of-a-kind. There are no other recordings of it. Paul is a great guy and he played the bass on Diana Krall's first CD. I don't know her. The drummer is another great jazzer in his own right--Pete Siers. Susan Chastaine provides vocals. She sounds incredibly like Ella at times and she's made a few CDs of her own.
Give me an email address and I'll see if I can post a track or two. This is all I have of anything I've done because I don't normally keep it, I give it to the artists since it is really theirs and I can't release it without their permission anyway. Much of it, they are so bad it isn't worth releasing. This stuff I have though is extremely good.

It came back undeliverable. Apparently, it was too big. I sent two tracks initially so I cut it down to one. Hopefully that will be enough.
