I like Tchaikovsky. I dont know much about classical but I know his stuff is a good place to start. His 1812 Overture is what he is most know for.

Yeah, I just like the easy convenience. Plus I used to work years ago in a computer superstore called 'PC World'. Yep sad, people in England might think. But there I heard many cases where copyright lawyers were being used to sue people for downloading music. Kind of put the willies up me. :frown:

I really think iTunes is the best source for legal downloads. You could also try out the napster music flatrate.
Or buy actual CDs, like I do. I know, that's so old-fashioned...

I think I speak for England in general. Problem with buying CD's from the shops is the cost. Last time I brought a CD was about 2 or 3 years ago and paying £12.99 for an album. Which on itunes I can get for £9.
Secondly with this credit crunch business, some of the big shops selling CD's are going. Woolworths after 100 years of trading has gone under, and Zavvi (formally known as Virgin Megastore) is also in trouble alreading closing 22 stores. Concerning times ahead.

I feel you but I just like to have an actual physical objekt. Something I can touch, with booklets and artworks and stuff.
Also, I don't buy CDs from the big shops anymore. They just don't have what I'm looking for. I use either amazon or some smaller record shops with employees that really know what they're talking about instead of shop assitants that know jack shit about music and just happen to 'work' in the music area of some shitty electronics retailer.

I know exactly what your saying. Yes there did used to be a nice little record shop close by, but long since gone. Difficult to come by these days, with the major electronic retailers and typical school leaver employees. :laugh:
But also going back on topic and answering Ruhi Sheikh question about what music to get. I would have recommended something really generally and something that fits with everyone's taste. Maybe Gustov 'Holst' - The Planets. With music playing from dramatic to calm. My favourite being the dramatic - Mars (The bringer of WAR!). :evil:
