Sangeet Ganga established in 1975 by such renowned artistes as Pt Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Ms.Urmila Nagar and Ms.Sulochana Brahaspati, to popularize and propagate classical music and dance among the youth and general masses. The focus of this organization is on âyouthâ. It primarily aims at providing a platform to the talented and upcoming young artists so that they can reach out to the music loving public, and present our rich cultural heritage and traditional values forming the essence of Indian society. Our organization is striving hard to promote Indian classical music and to help young artists earn recognition for their hard labour and sustained effort in pursuing classical music and dance. We are attempting to popularize the Indian classical music in the hope that it can reclaim its earlier position of eminence in the Indian society.
