Sorry but beats dont count as music in my book..
Music has feel and emotion. It comes from the heart and is played by REAL people and not created by someone pushing bottons and twiddling knobs on a board.....!!

Everyone who is making this crap called 'beats' assumes that they are some type of producer or other. I wonder if people really know what a producer's function is in a studio or in a professional partnership. A producer's main job is to coax the right performance out of an artist while he is recording and also to match the different songs together to make a cohesive album. He stands some distance away from the project in order to give the artist, who is standing too close to the work, an objective view of proceedings. THAT is what a producer is - not a person stuck behind a computer performing several 'copy and paste' functions on one dumb drum sound. Wake up people!

When did I say I was a producer? I like making beats and wanted to get some criticism. You sound like a high school kid trying to explain to everyone else in his class what "real music" is, instead of letting everyone just enjoy what they like. Also, a producer job varies in genre, but then again I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge or respect that, because I can see how close-minded you are.

I have tried to listen to the popular dance music ...believe me....but that annoying drum beat machine always gets in the way....yuck!
