Music Lover, not a performer - MidiLife Crisis - 22-12-2012

Hello, all -
I had a question about an old song and have posted that elsewhere. As for me, I love music of almost all kinds, although my tastes are limited in jazz and non-existent for rap, and most hip-hop.

Otherwise, I love music from "classical" (e.g. Romance period music) to whatever is out there today.

As a young man I played guitar (mainly chords), able to pick up songs by ear and sing at parties and gatherings; but never played professionally. It was a great way to meet the gals! But that was back in the Dark Ages - Peter, Paul and Mary, The Kingston Trio, Neil Diamond, The Beatles... and so on.

I have a very accomplished musician in my family (one of my daughters) who plays the keyboard and sings, and has performed with a musical ministry group all over the world. But this isn't about her, and she has her own contacts, and is essentially a private person. That's about the size of it!

Thank you for this resource.
