multitrack recording software i have just purchased - Mrrusty1 - 29-11-2012 I have just bought a 64 track recording package which I have installed on my brand new laptop . it allowes me to record and playback at the same time and it has up to 64 tracks but also you can bounce down so the possibilities are endless I can now experiment endlessly with new ideas and sounds . also I can record my live stuff with the bands I play in because my laptop has stereo mics , this is just brilliant . no real lateny problems , which I experienced with the old tower , probably because my new machine has a fast Pentium . multitrack recording software i have just purchased - Jerome - 29-11-2012 Hey Rusty - just curious - what software package are you using? multitrack recording software i have just purchased - Mrrusty1 - 29-11-2012 Magix music maker music studio MX Jerome Wrote:Hey Rusty - just curious - what software package are you using? multitrack recording software i have just purchased - Jerome - 29-11-2012 Mrrusty1 Wrote:Magix music maker music studio MX Good Choice! All you need is a digital interface with the appropriate amount of inputs. That'll plug into your computer via USB/firewire/thunderbolt/etc. Then you just set up the tracks in your software (aka DAW). That's a simplified description. Usually the small details vary depending on the software and computer setup you are using. multitrack recording software i have just purchased - Mrrusty1 - 26-12-2012 I think with the band I would have to record from either the backline or from the stereo output of the mixer Crazyeelboy Wrote:Are you going to record many inputs at once?
