Rock or Blues? - TomJoad - 21-11-2012

I don't know how he does it, but Eric Clapton successfully cures any bad mood for me, any gloomy day, any bad news, is infinitely better when some clapton emerges.

Do people consider this lovely artist to be rock or blues? I feel he's more of both, but I'm curious!

Favourite song: I feel free --although, cocaine and layla come close second

If you ever get the chance watch his '24 Nights' DVD - Clapton at his peak IMO.

Love Clapton, I would definetely consider him to be Blues-Rock, he has done some straight blues stuff and some straight rock, but for the most part he mixes the two genres with great results.
