Does anyone know of any rock or metal songs that heavily use either analogies or hyperbole in them? I'm trying to think of one for each but my mind is drawing a blank.

I don't know about the others, but I would take a listen to Immigrant Song By Led Zeppelin (Zeppelin III) or Dazed and Confused on their 1st Album. You may get a bit of both of what you're looking for...
