COLD CHISEL "no plans"

first new album by these on again and off again Aussie blues rockers...
very dissapointing to hear this one, but not unexpected by the score...these guys had their heyday back around 1980
and occasionally pull another one out the hat along with a tour Down under to replenish the bank accounts....
album debuted here at #2 the other week, then slipped down the charts faster than the speed of light...
not much on here to like, Jimmy Barnes voice is shot IMO, the songs sound like disjointed unfinished pieces that
they released to go on tour with....
1.5

13 tracks, 6 ok, 7 aweful.....the single "everyday" aint too bad i guess...a couple of nice ballads on it, but no links for them at this time unfortunately

gotta admire any artist/band who keeps on plugging away...Jimmy Barnes toured late last year then released an album at the end of last year, did another tour, then back in studio for six weeks with Chisel then back on the road with them again....he's obviously got a lot of stamina in his mid 50s to do that

i havent liked any of his albums or Chisel's for at least 20 years now, but obviously tens of thousands still do!?
