Ok, I just wrote this whole thing without logging in and it deleted everything, so this is going to be an abbreviated version. So I'm a college student and avid music listener from Connecticut. I like classic rock, alternative, hip hop, jazz, and currently I'm fiending on electro.
More specific:
Rock - Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin
Alternative - Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Gorillaz
Hip Hop - The Notorious BIG, Wu Tang Clan, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, CunninLynguists, KiD CuDi
Jazz - (I play much more than I listen, but) Weather Report,
Electronic - deadmau5, Daft Punk, Justice, Feed Me, some Skrillex, DatsiK, Bassnectar, The Glitch Mob, Madeon, Spor, Reso, Noisia, Eskmo, Phonat, Royksopp, Jazzanova, Bonobo, Venetian Snares, Foreign Beggars (which is electronic/rap fusion), Ratatat, Diplo, Major Lazer, Mustard Pimp, Dirtyphonics, Emalkay, James Blake, Digitalism, Gesaffelstein, Jack Beats, Duck Sauce, A-Trak, Koan Sound, Lazerdisk Party Sex, SBTRKT, Pretty Lights, Wolfgang Gartner, Madlib, Nujabes,
There's a bunch of other stuff, but these are just my favorites. And I have very poor memory...
Also, I play classical and jazz violin, guitar, and mess around with electronic music. But lately I've been really lazy in regards to creativity...
