Why is it that some posts do not appear in the New Posts thread when they've been posted only a few hours ago ?
Also same for the Cover Version thread started by Gryph ???
It's kind of a pain to have to go through every post in all the forums...some have ben posted in less than 24 hours.
I also am having trouble with the search tool for posts ????

No Trace, if you do you will still miss many posts !!!! It should work that way but it doesn't on my end anyway ?
Can anybody help ??? Is this automatically or manually controlled...if manually I understand and no I can't do better and no I don't want the job !!!!... lol !!!

Furthermore I know about the "new posts in last 24 hours " notification but I'm not going to wait a day to see this !!!!.... lol
There is a significant amount of dialogue being missed as I don't believe everyone goes through every Forum to catch up on new posts for discussion...in fact I know they don't !!!! That's what I have to do and it's tiresome and tedious as I see posts I've read recently appear.
Maybe I am on MD too much but hey I'm retired and I am not..... what do they call that...oh ya ...working !!! I want to walk and play with the dog...he likes to roughouse, play and visit the grandkids, chat on Md, listen to music, visit friends and oh ya I almost forgot..talk to my beautiful and adoring wife !!!!...not in that order of course ... lol.
I am by no means knocking or criticising MD in any shape or form.... it's just a real flaw I've noticed .
Remember I enjoy this site immensely !!!!!

I think you are right Crazy................techman is the man...................I will add one more observation.............The software we use to run MD is platform dependant...........ie it depends upon the browser you use and to some degree on the settings you use it under...............we have found that with picture posting ................so it could be that particular settings of a platform encourage differing behaviours from the software.................................For example I can only issue infractions from the computer I use in work...........the settings of my home computer will not let me ( something to do with my Norton firewall) ..................Some people can post images that show when you are logged in only.................so I guess this kind of behaviour of the software happens elsewhere too.
