One of my all time favorite bands was or is The Rolling Stones. For quite some time however they have been all but ignored and have somewhat become a fading memory !
Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ron have all dabbled in solo careers and reunited for concert tours.
I don't know how long it's been since they released a group album?
Their forte seems to be on the concert circuit doing their Greatest Hits which was or is very popular and successful ! Have they officially disbanded as a group ?
The song writing duo of Jagger/Richard seems to have gone south. Perhaps their style of blues and r n' b became creatively stagnant with no room to improve on their music?
Mick is or has formed a new group with Dave Stewart and Joss Stone called Super Heavy !

They have put a fair bit of energy into playing live in recent years.
Although I haven't coughed up for any of their studio albums since Steel Wheels, I think their albums tend to get judged unduly harshly. And I don't buy that they haven't done anything worthwhile since Exile on Main Street.
I'm sure they'll don their trusses and get out for at least one more world tour, unless we lose one of them !!
