DAVID RAWLINGS "poor david's almanac"

the guy has been around some twenty years but I cant recall hearing him despite the fact
he's worked with some of the best in the business including Bright Eyes, Old Crow Medicine Show,
Ryan Adams to name a few...
has also produced albums and written with/for Gillian Welch....
this one has a distinct Neil Young thing happening in places, also some similarities to CSN/CSNY in places...
lots of bluegrass/folk on here...
only two words to describe this album IMO....absolutely brilliant !!!!!

^The Cumberland Gap is prevalent lately! There's one on Jason Isbell's latest release too.
Of the two, I prefer this.

which is of significance in my neck of the woods
about 30 miles south of me is Lake Cumberland
