NEW ALBUM: David Rawlings "poor david's almanack" - CRAZY-HORSE - 16-08-2017 ![]() DAVID RAWLINGS "poor david's almanac" Spotify listen: the guy has been around some twenty years but I cant recall hearing him despite the fact he's worked with some of the best in the business including Bright Eyes, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ryan Adams to name a few... has also produced albums and written with/for Gillian Welch.... this one has a distinct Neil Young thing happening in places, also some similarities to CSN/CSNY in places... lots of bluegrass/folk on here... only two words to describe this album IMO....absolutely brilliant !!!!! from the album the CSNY soundalike: RE: NEW ALBUM: David Rawlings "poor david's almanack" - Ruby - 17-08-2017 ^The Cumberland Gap is prevalent lately!
