I love them so much but I'm really not impressed with this new single. It's hard to not be distracted by the idiotic lyrics. Maybe I'll change my mind and it will grow on me. I was really looking forward to the album, now....not so much.

ive only got their debut album, moreso out of curiousity and the hype i read from the UK press, that wasnt a bad album, i havent heard anything from their other albums to make me want to buy them, i'll probably just wait for a "best of" album now

I know what you mean - where has the lyrical quirky charm gone? It's not that it's bad, they've just evolved into something I'm not particulary interested in (I'm not a QOTSA fan (!)). I can't help but hear drug-induced indulgence when I hear this but I'd be more than happy to be proved wrong - they're a brilliant band.
