Hey guys - Savmu - 08-04-2011
I've been looking for a decent board where I can discuss music, and this one seems like a decent one so I decided to join.
To start off, I'm 18(soon to be 19)y.o. music student from Finland. Currently my life consists of music, though every now and then I do enjoy playing videogames.
My favourite genre of music is definitely rock with most of it's subgenres(including metal ofc) of which I like every sort of progressive music the most. However, due to my music studies I'm slowly getting into other genres, of which jazz is definitely the most important one. Though, rock and the subgenres will still remain my favourite.
I hope I'll enjoy my time here and meet some new people, but my main motive is to expand my musical knowledge and views.

EDIT: I'd like to add that I play guitar and sing aswell. Okay that's about it for now lol.

Right.
I enjoy Arjen A. Lucassen's work ALOT currently. I like The Gathering and the newer Autumn aswell. And when I just want to relax I tend to listen to Yanni. I listen to a variety of other artists aswell, but right now thise are propably what I listen to the most.
