Well if you want the truth then here it comes first off i dont think that you have a bad voice your just not using your assets right work on your voice google basic vocal exersises and use them you will be amazed at the results in a short time
also be yourself george michael didnt get to sound like george by copying frank sanatra work on your strenghths and sing when you can
