Jethro Tull 40th Anniversary Tour - Tiggi - 27-04-2008

This is for anyone that likes dinosaur prog rock.

Went to see this band live ata alocal venue last weekend, and they made some impression !!

Ian Anderson - band leader, vocalist, flautist - is a brilliant frontman, and at 61 years of age could still teach the youngsters a thing or two about stagecraft. This man is a spell-binding performer and everyone reading this owes it to themselves to check it out before they stop touring.

Martin Barre - guitarist, and the other remaining long term band member - is a dazzling musician who is just a joy to watch. Again, a near pensioner who looks every bit the grey haired rock star.

The whole band oozed professionalism, and a great time was had by all. Mrs Tiggi was knocked sideways by this lot !!

They're a UK Folk/Prog/Rock band who've been around for, ummm let's see, about 40 years. You probably wouldn't like them.

If you've been alive at any point in the past 40 years and listen to the radio, you've probably heard Aqualung.
