Right... doesn't Sasha's Airdrawndagger come close enough?

Dunno...
As you know Jon, I'm a bit of a novice in this area, and I've never heard Airdrawndagger. Must investigate.
Only joking about the rubbisness of the list

Tiggi Wrote:Only joking about the rubbisness of the listI know. I responded with a joke, but it fell flat since you don't know Sasha. Once upon a time (late 90's, early 00's) he was HUGE in the world of progressive house. Especially as part of the DJ duo Sasha & Digweed. Progressive house is not the same as psy-trance but they are cousins.

Picked up LCD's self-titled album in the library for a quid and I personally think it's a hard listen. Nice to see Herbert in there and also Ulrich Schnauss who is very under-rated.

Hmm, don't even know where to begin really...
I know for sure that MY list would look a lot, lot different, but then again, I'm not trying to appeal to a larger audience, either.
I suppose its ok for what it is, and a good starter/intro list for the, umm, un-initiated?

Well, the list is not for a broad audience it was created by one. It's the results of polling the members of the Resident Advisor website.
Why don't you begin by offering a list of ten or more album releases from the last decade that you think are essential listening?
