NEW ALBUM: Dope Lemon - "golden wolf" - CRAZY-HORSE - 05-05-2025 Spotify listen pseudonym/alter ego of Aussie folkie Angus Stone his fifth album under the moniker 13th album overall though... very laid back with a summery vibe almost 1970s really relaxed soul/r+b in places, also slightly folkie in others and hints of psychedelia too pretty close to probably being his most commercially sounding Dope Lemon album still not sure what to make of it yet as his albums are growers over time and not immediately appreciated he hasnt released a Dope Lemon album that i actually 'love' but i do like them all to varying degrees album has been preordered because i am a fan of his and it will grow over time. this is how Angus describes the album and i think it does sum it up: Moving effortlessly between sun-soaked rock and shimmering nocturnal grooves, the album invites listeners to savour the journey rather than rush to the destination.
