NEW ALBUM: KATE HUDSON ~ Glorious - Ruby - 26-05-2024 KATE HUDSON ~ Glorious I listened to this release out of sheer curiosity and was semi-expecting it to be an actor’s indulgence (in my prejudiced little mind)! She has a good voice, IMHO, which has an interesting burr in it, nice tone, and the songs are a pop/rock blend, generally. Not something I’d add to my collection, but on the whole I’d say that Ms Hudson has acquitted herself well. The genes will out – her biological father, Bill Hudson is, or was, a singer too. No doubt having Linda Perry on board in the songwriting and production departments didn’t hurt matters either! Along with her partner, Danny Fujikawa, who is also a musician.   Two that stood out for me … "Not Easy to Know" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFPHOKR9Ed4 ....  and "Live Forever" ...
