originally a Lennon demo on a cassette tape recorded around 1977...
was originally worked on in 1997 along with "free as a bird" and "real love", the latter two were released around that time...
George Harrison vetoed this one partially because the vocals couldnt be lifted out of the tape and cleaned up and partially because he thought it was a weak track...
so now Geroge is dead, Peter Jackson (film maker and "get back" doco producer) managed to use new technology to clean up the Lennon vocals and here we are, the track was finished by Paul and Ringo and now it has been released...
i think the song it weak, it was an unreleased demo for a reason, ie: had Lennon thought it was half decent i feel he would have done something with it during the "double fantasy"/"milk and honey" sessions prior to his death.

official video has just been released.
worth a view folks if only for the superimposed Lennon and Harrison and obviously the great archival footage.

the single debuts at #6 on the aussie charts this week.
